Rubble Dreams of Being Rescued

Rubble’s heartache is unimaginable. This sweet 2 year old pug/lab mix once had a home, but his owner surrendered him to a rural Virginia shelter, saying they could no longer care for him. Rubble didn’t understand why he was left behind, and now he sits in a loud, overcrowded shelter, confused and frightened. The once familiar comforts of home have been replaced with cold floors and uncertainty. Though underweight, Rubble’s gentle and friendly nature still shines through, but the shelter is full, and his time is running out. Homeward Trails wants to rescue Rubble and give him the chance at a better life, but they desperately need donations to save him.
