Racine Video Production Workshop engages and mentors students in the filmmaking process. Participants learn marketing, project management, and filming basics to prepare them for a career in the film industry, media, technology, and management roles.
These hands-on workshops expand and foster leadership, interpersonal communication skills, and self-confidence in participants. In addition, we provide a bridge from the classroom to real-world applications, especially for youth in disadvantaged situations, by:
● Offering opportunities to work with and ask questions to professionals working in the video production and film industry.
● Facilitating access to equipment and software allows participants to explore careers in the video production, media, or marketing fields.
● Giving students real-world experience and projects they can include on their resumes to potential employers or colleges.
Our program builds a love of learning, gives opportunities for self-expression, and celebrates community as participants share their stories through video and our live events.
