Imagine navigating life feeling completely alone!
Well believe it or not that is many people's reality. One thing I remember hearing from many people when I became a mom was "It takes a village". As a family, my husband, friends, and family joined together to make a life for my daughter. Furthering your education empowers you to use your degrees and knowledge to get higher-paying jobs. Parenthood is already a challenge in this economy, but juggling school, bills, rent/mortgage, and other struggles can present a challenge. Without my Family and friends, I don't think I would have made it. It inspires me to see those who weren't as lucky as me still beating the odds.
Furthermore, I've had the honor to connect and grow under HOPE Inc.'s CEO and founder, Kenita Smith. She inspires me daily and it's a blessing to help support her mission and vision to "help others be empowered". Almost instantly when I met Kenita, I was inspired by her love for people and her story. Help us take action to change lives by being a donor and not just verbally supporting a cause.
By donating to H.O.P.E., Inc. you are choosing to empower, encourage, and equip low-income single parents who are trying to obtain a college degree, develop essential life skills, and ultimately become self-sufficient. How do we accomplish this? We need your help
As we approach Giving Tuesday on November 28th, I’m reaching out to my dear friends because I know that together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of individuals. Here are the ways you can give.
1. $45 - Provides a day of support for a single-parent family.
2. $100 - Covers a week of childcare so parents can stay in school.
3. $200 - Supplies a month of groceries and gas for a single parent.
4. $400 - Offers a month of safe shelter for a family in need or can be the difference before facing late payments or eviction.
5. Custom donation - whatever your heart desires
I’ve made my donation, and I invite you to join me. Together, we can turn stories of struggle into stories of triumph.
