Keep history alive!

I started at the Historical Society of Long Beach as an intern through the Long Beach Community Internship Program at CSULB in Fall 2022. Ever since my first encounter with HSLB I was amazed by the history it holds of our city and community. Never knowing it existed until walking upon it- like a lot of people! 

I can say that my work here blossomed and led me to serve as the current Researcher Coordinator. Being able to help people with questions and meet with you all brings me joy. I learn new things every day from exploring our archives and collections. Research begins with curiosity and your curiosity is what drives us to do what we do! Come in for a visit to see what we have to offer. 

HSLB is a hidden gem in our city and I urge you to donate so that we can continue to share, collect, and preserve our local history. Thank you for everyone's support.
