Why am I doing the Slumber Pawty (again)?

Because every dog deserves love, comfort, and a chance at a forever home! Because I have spent my entire life coaxing homeless dogs and kittens to trust me, and then advocating for them to go on and live a better life. Stepping into my role at the SPCA-BC and joining the team as we fight for every animal that comes into our care was a homecoming.

By spending the night in the shelter, members of the community get a firsthand look at the reality we see every day. It’s a powerful reminder of why we work so hard to find loving homes for every dog in our care. 

With loads of fun activities, evening bedtime stories, and late-night snuggles, this will be a rare and special night for our pups as we bring awareness to their day-to-day reality.
