THANK YOU!

Update posted 3 years ago

Our hearts are full.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our biggest ever fundraiser and helped us surpass our goal!  On behalf of all those we serve as we (once again) face an uncertain and difficult winter, your support ensures we can meet the challenges in front of us head on and continue providing services that are so critically needed in our communities.

We will officially end fundraising on this page on Monday, Jan. 10th. If you know anyone who might like to support us before then, please share with them.

Thank you for standing with us! xxoo

We were recently given a transformative gift from one of our board members and we're asking you to help us match it by the end of the year! This will ensure Project Weber/RENEW can continue to provide peer-led harm reduction and recovery support services to our communities when demand is at an all-time high.

We now operate drop-in centers--in Pawtucket, South Providence, and Olneyville--and the demand for our services is at an all-time high. We have worked with more than 4,000 individuals in 2021 alone and distributed over 10,000 doses of naloxone and Narcan to help prevent overdoses over the last two years.

Your contributions for this special matching gift campaign will help us provide clients with basic needs such as food and water, distribute cold weather clothing, transport clients to detox and recovery housing, conduct Narcan trainings, run peer-led support groups, provide testing and linkage to care for those living with and at risk for HIV and hepatitis C & so much more.

Growing PWR's future will take a dedicated community of individuals to tend the soil, maintain healthy roots, and nourish the seedlings. We hope we can count on you to be a part of making it happen and that you will help us see it blossom into reality!

Be sure to follow us on social media @weberrenew and sign up for our newsletter by visiting our website.

Special thanks to PWR's very own team member and self-described “beautiful black queer artist community figure” Sav Hazard-Chaney for her artwork of the flower and naloxone. See more of her creations @artxbyxsav.
