Evie is our little Angel, a real beam of sunshine. From infancy she was missing milestones and almost seemed like a “lazy” baby. She has been through genetic blood tests, EEG testing, MRI brain scanning, metabolic panels, etc. She receives PT, OT, and speech therapy on a regular basis. She is currently enrolled in The Rare Genome Project to continue looking for a diagnosis for her rare condition. She began crawling at 20 months and only just now at 3 years of age is starting to walk unassisted. Her gait is very unstable. She cannot speak, but is starting to mimic sounds more and more. Her determination and curiosity propel her into the world, and she continues to make strides every day! A service dog would give her assistance with mobility and many other aides, as well as helping her motivation, as she is quite the animal lover. Please consider donating to her cause!
