Empowering young girls is near and dear to my heart… and i-tri does that and much more.

I have been on the Board of I-tri since 2015 and continue to marvel at the impact and positive change it makes on the lives of the girls who participate. I-tri’s mission is to teach girls (10-14) in the program about health, positive body image, self-worth, self-confidence and self-empowerment through mentorship and training and completing a youth distance triathlon.  This is a seemingly impossible goal for the girls to fathom at the start and yet every one of them masters it.  I-tri teaches them to fulfill goals and have the confidence in themselves and their abilities. 

This is the 10-year anniversary of i-tri and we are now being asked and challenged to make this program available to girls nationally.  The girls who started 10 years ago are now thriving in college and are standouts in their schools and communities.  I believe in the power of i-tri.  Will you join me and make a difference in girls’ lives?
