Melody for O, Miami

Please join me in celebrating O, Miami for Give Miami Day! 

I am proud of this work and the Miami we're building together. 

I am excited to raise $2000 to support the greater goal of fostering a Miami in which residents are heard, recognized, and given a platform to create. 

O, Miami celebrates South Florida through the empathy-building power of poetry. We educate and engage communities by hosting programs and providing resources for people to identify and express themselves through poetry. We then publish that poetry in public spaces and in books. Our work invests in collaborative narratives of place, to create a more equitable future.

Year-round we operate as a publisher and education organization, creating opportunities for people to come together through poetry and providing free resources for families and teachers. In April we celebrate the fruits of that work with our annual O, Miami Poetry Festival.
