$5,000 goal

This May, celebrate the Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC), the only pan-Asian arts and cultural organization in the East Bay, by helping OACC reach its $5,000 fundraising goal. Please consider the following ways to help:

  • For a $20 donation, you can help OACC present original exhibits such as Dalit Dreamlands: Toward an Anti-Caste Future.
  • For a $50 donation, you can help OACC partner with teachers in the community to offer a variety of affordable art, music, dance, health, and martial arts classes.
  • For a $75 donation, you can help OACC offer film screenings and discussions on APIA and intersectional topics such as The Six: The untold story of RMS Titanic's Chinese Passengers and Searching for Kapwa.
  • For a $100 donation, you can help OACC offer book talks with APIA authors such as retired journalist and author William Gee Wong to discuss his new book Sons of Chinatown: A Memoir Rooted in China and America.
  • For a $200 donation, you can help OACC present performances by culture bearers such as 2024 Southeast Asian New Year- Celebration of lu Mien and Cambodian New Year.

With a simple click, you can assist OACC in providing programming that reflects the diverse East Bay APIA community!
