Publishing Internships

At Trio House Press, we are big believers in inviting everyone into the field of publishing; we regularly host ten more more interns who learn about all aspects of publishing while getting practical experience in editing, proofreading, marketing, production, and more.

While many of our interns receive college credit or scholarships that enable them to make the time for the internships, we know there are many students out there from underrepresented backgrounds who just don't have the resources to complete an unpaid internship; so, we are committed to raising funds to go towards paid internships -- and you can help make that happen.

We aim to begin this project with two paid internships. Each intern will receive a stipend of $2,500 for a 16 week semester, working 10-12 hours per week. A $500 stipend will be paid to the intern trainer/coordinator. If more than $5,500 is raised, we will apply that amount to incorporating more paid internship opportunities for students from underrepresented backgrounds.
