Nala is a 5 year old Boxer mix who has known love, but now finds herself abandoned in a cold, lonely shelter in rural Virginia. Surrendered by her owner, she’s left to navigate the terrifying, overcrowded confusion of a shelter where fear and uncertainty rule her days. The barking never stops, and the cage she’s confined to feels like a prison. Nala’s heart is breaking, and she doesn’t understand why the people she trusted most are no longer by her side.
