Join us at Grace Smith House to create positive change for victims fleeing domestic violence. None of our work would be possible without the generous donations of our community.

For one young woman, your belief in our mission was life-altering. She was at the beginning of motherhood, filled with fear for her life and the life of her newborn. Instead of a loving partner picking her up at the hospital, she asked for help and Grace Smith House was called. Alone, and with a baby, she made the brave decision to seek safety at Grace Smith House emergency shelter. This young mother started a new beginning.

Raising a newborn in a domestic violence shelter is not something any mother should have to do. Nor should this mother face having to go home to an abusive partner after having given birth to her child. 

 When you donate - we can help this young mother and many others with their own unique story. Families who leave abusive homes and receive safety in our shelter, begin new jobs, move into our housing programs find transportation to critical appointments, get support for the trauma they endured, and find connection and healing in our support groups, receive advocacy to get the services they and much more.
