Climate Impact and Environmental Inequity: Towards Justice for All
This campaign will fund scholarships for six frontline environmental justice leaders to attend the fifth annual assembly of the Florida Interfaith Climate Actions Network in Orlando, Florida, February 1-2.
These frontline community leaders will tell their own stories of communities where heat, extreme precipitation, and severe hurricanes expose and amplify systemic inequities. We will develop creative solutions and action plans for the coming year.
A documentary video with African Network Television will launch a Santa Fe College series on environmental and climate justice and equity. Spirituality and Sustainability is being developed as a civic engagement program with Santa Fe College and UF/IFAS Spiritual Floridians Program.
