Our band is part of a fundraising initiative called BAND FACTORY to help raise money for the incredible nonprofit organization Lehigh Valley Girls Rock (LVGR). Think of it like a 5k but way cooler and with built-in mentorship! We are 1 of 5 brand new bands that have formed through this year's Band Factory! We have 2 months to write 3 songs. Along the way, we'll compete via fundraising with the other bands to win cool prizes like creating our own band merch, getting a professional band photo shoot, and even studio recording time(!!!!) all while helping to support LVGR's programs. Band Factory culminates with a showcase on December 7th at National Sokols in Bethlehem, PA (GET TO THE GIG!!!!!!)

LVGR is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women, trans, & nonbinary folks through music and art. Proceeds of Band Factory support its youth program, Get LOUD Camp, a summer camp open to youth ages 10-17. At camp, participants form a band, learn to play an instrument, write an original song together, and play a show all in just five days while also attending workshops on social justice and community building. Get Loud Camp fosters a positive, nurturing environment to teach young people that their greatest power is being themselves!

Get LOUD Camp takes a lot of resources - camp and venue space, staff costs and volunteer stipends, supplies, instruments, and the list goes on. With Band Factory, we hope to raise a large portion of camp costs so that other resources can support our programming outside of camp!

• Get LOUD Fest (a concert celebrating gender inclusivity in music)
• Youth band mentorship beyond camp through things like after school programs
• Meet ups and workshops throughout the year to bring folks together and cultivate a sense of community
