FAR (Funds for Artists’ Resilience)
is a relief program for artists in California's Humboldt, Del Norte and Trinity counties who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine.
FAR provides poets, performers, and visual artists with stipends to produce public works of art on themes of equity and resilience throughout this tri-county region, including tribal lands and remote rural areas in addition to the population centers of Eureka, Weaverville, and Crescent City.
All media and combinations of media are eligible, from mural painting and public sculpture to landscape architecture, urban planning, music, video, and performance.
As we develop projects that reflect the scope of this region’s cultural and ethnic diversity and work to ensure they are realized to fullest potential, your gift will sustain members of this community by providing hope, possibility and a shared sense of creative purpose.
