Lullaby Project 2017

$7,000 goal
Inspired by Carnegie Hall’s Lullaby Project, the Reno Phil is partnering with Note-Able Music Therapy Services (NMTS) and STEP2 for their own take on the project.
Over six weeks, mothers from STEP2 (a residential treatment program for addiction) will work with music therapists from NMTS and musicians from the Reno Phil to create personal lullabies. The project will culminate in a recording session at a professional studio, and the mothers will receive a copy of their lullabies to share with their children.
Music is a strong connector; the project aims to connect the mothers to their children (who are not living together while in treatment), while also empowering and inspiring the women as artists and individuals.
There are many costs associated with the project that we need help funding! Money raised will be used to pay musicians, therapists, and recording fees. Please help make a difference in the lives of these mothers and their children.
