As many of you know, I have been associated with Wednesday's Child for a very long time. I currently hold the title of Chairman Emeritus. Every day, I grow more passionate about the future of older foster children. Many of these children long for a home with adoptive parents who will love them and welcome them into their lives. While some are fortunate enough to live with caring foster parents or in residential homes, all of them need emotional support, safety, and security.

At Wednesday's Child, we are dedicated to meeting these needs in a variety of ways. We host events that celebrate important milestones in the lives of foster children. We offer deeply discounted Kentucky Kingdom tickets to adoptive families, helping them create special memories together. We invite foster children who are still waiting for their forever homes to a Holiday Party, where they receive presents from their Christmas wish lists. We host a conference to recruit more foster parents. We also provide funds for foster children to participate in enriching experiences like summer camp or music lessons—opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.

But we want to do more.

We need your help to recruit more foster parents who are willing to adopt. We need your help to educate foster children about their options as they grow older. We need your support to grow our Wish List Fund so we can continue making their dreams a reality.
