With over 10,000 animals brought to our hospital each year for illness, injury or who have been orphaned, our expert veterinary team works to put most back into the wild.

We also provide outstanding environmental education, welcoming school tours daily for visits to learn how to live in harmony with wildlife, and even how to attract them to your yard with the right plants, and water sources.

Education can prevent conflicts, which results in most cases in our hospital. We also do this through conservation work with local utilities, developers, and other industries. Preventing conflicts keeps the local ecosystem healthy and wildlife populations vibrant. This in turn reduces our need for things like pesticides and traps that can harm people and pets.

Living in harmony with a healthy wildlife population is the goal. And it's one we've excelled at for nearly 45 years, thanks to a small professional staff and a large dedicated team of nearly 400 volunteers.

The cost to run our wildlife veterinary hospital is almost $700,000 per year. But that actually works out to just about $65 per animal! Please consider a gift today to support this important work.
