Matching Gift Challenge for LCD

A generous donor is looking to match donations up to $25,000! Help us reach our goal of $25,000 by December 31, 2018. 

The matching gift is for the LCD PhilaKids Medical-Legal Partnership at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children’s Center for the Urban Child. It is made in order to continue the incredible efforts of this team of lawyers and physicians who screen for unmet legal and social needs that affect the health of families who struggle with poverty, safety, and inequalities in North Philadelphia. The anonymous donors chose PhilaKids MLP as an impactful service that helps “pay it forward” for these families as "we were able to do for our own children and grandchildren."

LCD is the only legal aid organization serving Philadelphia and surrounding counties that is dedicated exclusively to providing civil legal services for people with disabilities. We provide free legal services to low-income people with disabilities, and to the deaf and hard of hearing, in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties.

All donations go directly to supporting our services which help our neighbors gain independence, inclusion and justice.
