Sophie's Empower Newcomers Fundraiser

My name is Sophie Rudder and I am a staff member with the Immigrant Home English Learning Program. I have worked in immigrant and refugee advocacy for the last 4 years and working with immigrant and refugee youth is very dear to my heart. I have the honor of meeting with and watching our students grow through our adult and youth programs. I would very much appreciate it if you could support our students by either making a donation or signing up to receive more information about becoming a volunteer.  Give STL Day is the perfect opportunity to make your donation count! The first goal for this fundraiser is to raise $5,000 to directly support immigrant and refugee families in St. Louis. Your donation will make a real difference in their lives, especially for the families joining our new youth program.

The second goal is to build a stronger community by connecting with new friends and neighbors. This includes potential donors, volunteers of all kinds (including tutors!), and anyone who wants to be a part of welcoming newcomers to St. Louis.
