Earlier this year, 29:11 Healing & Recovery Center started the John Schubert Scholarship Fund honoring John Shubert who lost his life to substance use. This scholarship allows the center to fund expenses associated with substance use treatment, giving every individual a chance at recovery without the worry of financial barriers. 

This Giving Tuesday, we are coming together to support a cause that is incredibly close to my heart: providing recovery services for those battling substance abuse. This program isn’t just another initiative—it’s a lifeline, a place where hope begins to shine in the darkest of moments. For me, this is deeply personal. I’ve walked the path of addiction, felt its grip on my life, and witnessed how it can ripple out, affecting everyone around you. But in the midst of that struggle, God’s light broke through, offering me redemption, healing, and a renewed purpose. This ministry played a pivotal role in that journey, reminding me that I wasn’t alone and that transformation was possible through faith and hard work.

God has a unique way of meeting us where we are, especially in recovery. In my darkest days, I found that His love was constant, guiding me toward healing and showing me that no one is beyond His grace. This program doesn’t just offer treatment—it offers hope, a community of support, and the opportunity for people to experience the life-changing power of God.
