Kathy's Project Exploration Donations

Since 1999, Project Exploration (PE) has worked to change the face of STEM. With equity at our core, we serve youth from communities historically underrepresented in the STEM fields, and work to remove barriers that prevent black, brown, and low-income youth and young women from accessing, demanding, and pursuing STEM opportunities.

Two personal passions led me to join the board of Project Exploration:  my endless fascination with STEM and the joy of seeing young people learn and grow.  The mission and focus of Project Exploration enables me to make a positive impact in both of these areas.  

With your help, we can ensure continued equitable access to STEM programs and careers to every Chicago student. Please support Project Exploration in bringing more transformative learning opportunities to young people underrepresented in the sciences.  Together, we can ensure that these young people can continue to shape the skills, practices, and mindset for a lifelong pursuit of learning.

STEM programs are especially powerful in helping students succeed, even if they don’t pursue STEM careers. Instilling critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, sound decision-making skills and more, STEM has the power to make bright futures possible. Even more-so when these spaces and opportunities are backed by supporters like you.
