Help Dolores Heal from Severe Neglect

How long has this been GROWING? This tiny, super senior was quickly moved to the red list, which means in line for euthanasia at the shelter.

Dolores, fondly named Dolo by her foster mama, had a huge mass on her stomach, heart murmur, dental disease and who knows what else.

She has undergone x-rays and bloodwork to prepare for her massive surgery which was scheduled right away. Dolo had a 6-oz dual tumor-type mammary chain mass removed, that hindered her ability to move around. There was a concern that there was not enough healthy skin to close her tummy up. Dr. L is amazing as always!

She is on schedule for a spay and a badly needed dental next week. Her eyes are chronically dry.

This massive neglect did not happen overnight. A simple spay surgery in her younger years would completely prevented the mammary masses.

We will make sure that she gets everything she needs to be a healthy girl and make sure she has the best forever after.
