We have completed 5 Mental Health Cohorts a safe Space for both family and friends.

Mental Health Mondays Program:

Collective Sistahood Inc. Youth Support Group. We invite youth across Florida to be Junior Members may be between the ages of 14  to 24 to participate as well as Partner organizations to be presenters.  

We provide youth with Mini Scholarships, Community Hours, Community Outings, Celebration Dinners, we support youth in high school to help meet their basic needs



Impact: Since March 2019, we completed 5 cohorts of 14-20 participants, including students, parents, partners and community stakeholders.  We have been able to collect data on their age, demographics, survey and pre/post questionnaires. All youth are paired with a Barry School of Social Work Intern-Career Readiness supporting youth with any social emotional needs.

Special Thanks to Miami Dade County Propersity Grant for our 2nd year of funding.

At a recent mid program meet up, 28 questions were asked and 83% of participants were able to master the tools that they have learned so far.

This Program was designed and created by Jasmine Rolle-Barry University Graduate build upon by other interns doing an Internship with Collective Sistahood Inc

_being able to be involved and talk about personal issues

_when we go out and clean the community

_supports a lot goes every Monday listen and connect to other people’s problems

_when we went to the mall run and volunteer to help

 

Shameria:

_all the volunteering work that we've done in the past

 

 

Jayla:

_I I have only went once but it was wonderful

_bonding with new people / makes me feel like a better person

_calm down / help with anger / self-esteem / how to keep composure
