I have had the privilege of being a member of the Board of Directors of the sanctuary for chimpanzees at Freedom for Great Apes, and knowing these wonderful beings are being well-cared for is one of the things that makes me happiest.
We have had many different fundraising events through the years in order to provide the excellence care we strive to give our deserving residents.
Today I am reaching out to you in hopes you will be able to help us reach our goal of $40,000 for our six magnificent chimps, Herbie, Jackson, Emma and CJ. My personal goal is to raise $1,000 for my chimpanzee friends.
They deserve everything we can give them in return for what they have done for us, the human race!
