Help bring quality healthcare closer to our Extended Care Program (ECP) patients living in the most isolated and remote areas of Honduras.
This summer, Friends of Barnabas (FOB) needs your support to help fund two additional ECP satellite clinics.
Our new model takes healthcare services directly to our ECP patients by setting up traveling satellite clinics in their local area.
The ECP serves children with longterm medical challenges whose needs go beyond what their caregivers can easily provide. Children admitted to this program experience cardiac defects, neurological disorders, cleft lip and cleft palates, sickle cell anemia, vision issues, and other complex illnesses.
Over the last 20+ years, the ECP successfully operated at FOB's Barnabas House Clinic in Peña Blanca, Honduras. However, over the years, we have learned that many of our ECP patients travel over two hours and have to depend on unreliable and expensive transportation methods to reach the clinic.
ECP satelitte clinics bring medical care to Honduran communities, eliminating the need for travel.
At this time, we need your monetary support to host ECP satelitte clinics which provide neccessary care for Honduran children.
Our goal, with your contributions, is to raise $20,000 this year to fund two additional clinics.
A generous corporate donor will match the first $5,000 in gifts, getting us halfway to our goal.
Donate here to do your part in providing care for Honduran children. We are proud to partner with you!
