Katie's Personal Connection with BGCC...
My first interaction with the BGCC was when our youngest son, John, started working as a high school mentor for the Club. It was a great job for him in so many ways -- and it definitely boosted his confidence by being able to help the younger kids.
Fast forward a few years, and I was approached about joining the BGCC Board. I am so honored to be a part of this group and grateful to work with our amazing director, Jill Jacobson.
The BGCC does so much for our Coastside Youth (such as staying open during Covid, offering after-school programs for elementary, middle, and high school kids, and so much more!)
I'm incredibly grateful that they could take over the Cunha Sports program. Both of our boys played sports throughout middle school; it was an important part of their lives. Our boys learned about teamwork and commitment through Cunha Sports and made lifelong friendships. I can't imagine a middle school without sports!
Please join me in supporting BGCC during Coastside Gives.
