Please support my fundraiser for the Louisville Nature Center and help shape the future of conservation.

The Louisville Nature Center (LNC) was founded in 1964 with a mission to promote and inspire environmental stewardship and to be a catalyst for conservation through environmental education and connection to nature for every person. It is important to me as an early childhood learning hub and for the magical summer camp it offers for my kids.

In addition to maintaining and restoring 80 acres of urban forest, LNC works to teach the public about sustainability, nature, and environmental conservation. LNC works with people from all over Greater Louisville, including 4,500 school-age youth each year via camps, field trips, family programs, the Cultural Pass, and Swallowtail Forest School, urban Louisville’s first nature preschool.

After 60 years, LNC remains a cornerstone of Louisville's conservation efforts, and their work is crucial for the prosperity of our community and the education of the next generation of environmental stewards.

As the city of Louisville continues to grow and has the fastest-growing urban heat island affect in the country, LNC needs a strong, high-quality nature center like LNC.
