Erin Weimer - Pools of Hope

My daughter, Erin, has Down syndrome.  When she was little, she loved the pool, but would laugh as she was sinking into the water.  We were concerned with her pool safety, but typical swim lessons were not working for her.  In 2018 we found Pools of Hope.  Erin has attended the Therapeutic Swim Sessions ever since.  She is now a confident swimmer, and is completely pool safe. 

Pools of Hope is more than just swim location.  They provide water aerobic classes, they are a local food bank, and they sponsor trainings and camps for local families.  They really do bring the community together.  We are so grateful they are a part of our lives.
