The Idaho AfterSchool Network has a mission to ensure all Idaho youth have access to high quality out-of-school programs.

$3,000 goal

Children enrolled in out-of-school programs have better attendance, get higher grades, perform better on tests, and are more physically active.  Studies also reveal that children who attend after school programs regularly are more likely to graduate from high school and go on to higher learning. Out-of-school programs also deter kids from risky actvities that can lead to crime, drug abuse or teen pregnancy.

Yet according to the 2014 America After 3 survey of Idaho, only 8% of Idaho's students regularly attend after school program, but 42% would like to.  This is where the Idaho AfterSchool Network is going to help.

Your donation will help fund and support out-of-school (OST) programs across the state.
According to our 2015 OST Provider Survey, we asked providers what would help them most to fuels their services to youth.  No surprise, providers reported that their top need is funding for meals/snacks, repair/renovation, transportation, training and equipment and supplies.  Help support Idaho out-of-school program!

IAN will leverage statewide dollars to support local Idaho programs through simple a mini-grant process.  These grants will be funded by IAN through Idaho Gives fundraiser.  Your donations go directly to serve Idaho's children.

Idaho's Out-of-School Program providers offer a wide range of activities to our children, - Animal Science, Art, Coding, ESL, Foreign Language Education, Geo Science, Health Science, Homework Support, Making and Tinkering, Reading Support, Robotics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), STEAM (STEM with Art), tutoring and more.  But best of all they offer a brighter future!
