Ian's Annual Friends & Family Fundraiser

Every year, Linc Housing creates opportunities for people in need to thrive. Linc provides safe, stable and affordable housing with services to thousands of low-income families, seniors and other vulnerable populations, like veterans, youth transitioning out of the foster care system, individuals with disabilities, and people who were formerly unhoused. I genuinely believe that Linc changes the trajectory of its residents' lives. 

I included a video of Diane on my page. The backstory here is that I met her when I was an AmeriCorps member fresh out of college in 2006 when she was a young kid in a Linc after-school program. She was a bright young girl with loads of energy and potential. As my career went along and I changed jobs, I lost track of Diane. Upon my return to work at Linc in 2022, I learned that not only had Diane, when she aged out of the Linc after-school program, become a volunteer to support the next generation of kids growing up behind her, but she had been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona to study architecture and urban planning. One day, she could even design future affordable housing! 

I've seen hundreds of times Linc residents taking a path to a brighter future thanks to the  opportunities Linc staff, volunteers, and DONORS create. Thank you for considering making a gift of any size to this worthy organization. It really does make a difference in people’s lives, like Diane.
