A World of Black Writers
Our writing workshops increase the diversity of voices in the literary and cultural community. Award-winning authors and professors provide intensive instruction in fiction, nonfiction and poetry in small-group sessions. Literary agents, editors and publishers also share their expertise. More than a thousand Black writers have taken our classes since the first one in 1996. They find inspiration, instruction and a community that encourages them to soar.
