Robert Kahne HCM- Fundraiser

With a goal to support and empower our Highlands neighbors in need, Highlands Community Ministries serves the community with a variety of programs and services:

Food Pantry & Meals on Wheels - Clients receive food orders and/or senior commodities once per month, as well as fresh produce weekly.

Emergency Assistance - Residents in crisis may request assistance with utility bills and rent, as well as special needs such as qualifying prescription medications. 

Senior Services - Lunch and engaging activities offered M-F for seniors in the Highlands community to promote their physical, social, spiritual, emotional, and mental well-being.

Child Care - Providing an atmosphere of interactive learning in a safe, secure and stable environment, fostering the social skills and self-expression needed for healthy childhood development operating three Child Care Centers in the community.

Highlands Youth Recreation (HYR) - Promoting good sportsmanship and personal development through our recreational sports leagues for students ages 4 to 16, we serve kids from across Metro Louisville, as well as those from our local neighborhoods. Our partnership with Kentucky Refugee Ministries provides children new to our city with a sense of community by offering them HYR membership, transportation, and teammates who share a love of sports.
