Hikes for all this Giving Tuesday

Now through midnight on November 28th, an anonymous Bay Nature donor will double your gift up to $10,000. Let’s hit the trail!

Bay Nature is more than a magazine! Bay Nature Hikes bring our stories to life, connect readers directly with experts in the field, and help our community engage with local nature. 

All of our hikes across the Bay Area in 2023 sold out and we want to expand our hiking program next year to meet this demand. This means increased access to remarkable opportunities such as:

• Learning about the salt marsh restoration at Hal Brown Park in Marin with wildlife biologist Katie Smith.

• Touring waterfront improvements at the Presidio in San Francisco with the Presidio Trust's Michael Boland.

• Learning about local climate resiliency programs with Urban Tilth and the Environmental Protection Agency in Richmond.

• Exploring geologic, topographic, and biotic diversity at the Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve in Palo Alto with Dr. Jorge Ramos.

This Giving Tuesday, let’s make the most out of our matching opportunity and raise $20,000 for Bay Nature in just 24 hours! Our expanded Bay Nature Hikes program will mean:
