The Power of 10

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month — a time to raise awareness, support survivors, and take meaningful action to prevent future violence. This April, we invite you to join us in harnessing The Power of 10. We're looking for 50 generous supporters each day to give just $10 — together, that adds up to $500 a day to support survivors and strengthen our services. Your $10 may seem small, but when combined with others, it creates a powerful, lasting impact.

Survivors often wait years — even decades — before disclosing abuse. But in the critical first 10 hours after an assault, access to support services can be life-changing. Your gift ensures that when someone reaches out, SAFE is there to answer — with shelter, advocacy, and compassion.

If we reach our goal of $500 a day throughout April, we’ll raise $15,000 — enough to cover nearly one-third of our annual utility costs for our emergency shelters. That means warm, safe spaces for survivors in their most vulnerable moments.
