Hi, family and friends!

For some of us, it has been a while since we have connected, so let me re-introduce myself and let you know where I am today! By way of introduction, my name is Hayley. I am a human resource management student at Brigham Young University, an active member of my many communities here in Utah County, and I am grateful that you have taken a moment to consider helping out a cause near my heart.

                                                             (SMILES SO BRIGHT)

Diving right into it, Fit to Recover (FTR) has been one of the pillars of my personal growth and recovery since I came to Utah in 2022. For those of you who don’t know what FTR is, it is my safe space and extended family. Technically, FTR is a gym whose “mission is to provide a safe place for people in recovery from substance use disorders. Members connect with others and themselves through classes and activities that are designed to strengthen both the body and the mind.”

(My extremely supportive family members come to FTR when they visit <3 I would love to bring you too! Yes, YOU!)

When I first came to Utah in 2022, I was not planning on moving here long-term. I thought I would be receiving treatment and returning home. God had a different plan for me and it has played out in the most amazing way. My first week in treatment, FTR entered my life and it has not left since then.

(These are moments of pure happiness)

I am approaching my 250th class since joining FTR, which is extremely exciting! I am thrilled to celebrate this milestone while fundraising for this fantastic organization.

Now, you might be wondering, “How can I help?” Well, Utah County FTR is moving to a new location, and to continue serving people in the community, we need your help. It is never “comfortable” to ask for financial donations, so I rarely do. However, because of how FTR has changed and continues to change my life and the lives of countless others, I am asking you to consider donating to this fantastic organization. (You can write off your donation in your taxes).

                                                                  (FTR 5k run!)

If you can’t help financially, you CAN still help! Please share my “MightyCause” page with your friends and family who might be able to help. Reach out to me so I can share more of my story with you. Together, we can allow FTR to continue changing the lives of people struggling with addiction and mental health–people like me.

(I'm singing "Thank you" to you!)

Thank you. Thank you for looking at this site for an update on how I am doing. Thank you for sharing my page with people in your circle who might not personally know me. Thank you for reaching out. Thank you for choosing to donate.

I love you the MOST,

Hayley
