Thank you!
Hello Dear Supporters of the Groundswell: Co-Creative Climate Activism Crowdfunder,
This is the last update of our crowdfunder which ended nearly a month ago now. We needed some time to rest immediately afterwards, and have done some sincere reflecting as a team on this crowdfunding journey. Although we are quite far from the goal, we raised $3,600 from 33 people -- which are certainly lucky numbers-- and we are immensely grateful for each cent!!
We learned so much about crowdfunding and plan to do another one at a different time of year encorporating our learning lessons from this first time around.
Nonetheless, the funds that were recieved will still be going to support Groundswell programs that have and continue to be running since early 2020. Even if we cannot expand how we would like to at the moment, the funds will still be supporting the hosts, technologies, and input that goes into creating these love-crafted courses.
We will be sending out the gifts to those who donated $100+ this week, so keep an eye on your email.
Again, thank you deeply for believing in Groundswell: Co-Creative Climate Activism!
We leave you with this "Be a Voice for Our Living Earth," video that was a part of the original crowdfunding video cut, then we shifted our approach but still saw this part worth keeping so Jennifer Comeau and Ianto Moore crafted it into something soulful and beautiful! Featuring many folks from this network such as Ousmane Aly PAME, Jamie Shadid, Lisa Rimbach, Stephanie Mines, Jennifer Comeau, Michele Wilcox, Joy Foley, Rosalinda Namises, and others.
Enjoy :)
Warmly,
The CCC Core Team : Ash Schoep, Stephanie Mines, Moshe Tiferet Givental , Kristopher Drummond Jennifer Comeau, Brianna Ruland
