Helping Audiology Professionals in Need

Due to the recent natural disasters of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria as well as the wild fires in California, the American Academy of Audiology Foundation is leveraging its #GivingTuesday campaign to raise funds for the Membership Assistance Program (MAP). The MAP began in 2005 as an effort to support Gulf Coast audiologists who wished to attend the Annual Conference of the American Academy of Audiology but suffered financial hardship due to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Expanded into an annual initiative, the MAP provides complimentary registration to the Annual Conference for audiology professionals experiencing financial hardship for personal, health, or other reasons.
