$40,000 will cover our costs of raising and training a mixed breed pup from its adoption from a rescue group to its graduation from our training program.
Our dogs change lives. Each dog placed yields many heartwarming stories of how this rare, valuable dog brightens and expands the lives of their person's life. Our recipients live with the challenges and difficulties of their physical disabilities. Our carefully matched service dogs add joy, ease, and independence to their daily lives. We very carefully select the dogs we train and train each graduated service dog 2+ years.
During last year's Gannett Foundation Campaign we raised $31,300 with donations matched. This year they'll be tripled! We can raise $40,000 1 service dog's journey from rescue group to ably assisting their person!
