The Gerwing Family | MEXICO 2025

Dear Family and Friends,

We are so thankful for your prayers and support as our whole family travels to Ensenada, Mexico, to work with Baja Bound to provide compassion to immigrant communities in the Baja Peninsula by constructing houses, providing education, and providing community care.

Over the course of the week, our family, along with about 20 others from Oak Pointe Church Milford and 30 from Oak Pointe Church Novi, will construct five houses for immigrant families who need a safe and secure place to call home.

In addition to building houses, we look to build relationships, sharing the love and hope of Jesus with those we are supporting and making Him known in the surrounding communities. 

We hope you will consider partnering with us. The total cost of the mission trip for our family is $11,000. This will cover airfare and ground transportation, housing, food, and a share of the building materials needed to complete the mission. 

Another way you can partner with us is through prayer. There is no way our trip will succeed without an incredible amount of prayer. 

We are excited to be a part of this journey, working together as a family with partners like you to share God's love. 

Description of our focus July 20 - July 27, 2025:

⮚      Construct a home for a migrant family in need.

⮚      Support Baja Bound by serving and loving children of local orphanages. 

⮚      Provide nutrition to children through a daily feeding           program.

⮚      Assist the Baja Educational initiatives.
