Free Family Volunteer Day Event-Austin and Houston

Help us create the biggest Free Family Volunteer Days in Texas.  Your donation supports your favorite service area. Austin event will be Nov. 6, 2022 at the Austin Central Library. Houston event date is being finalized for Spring 2023. 

Why: We know Family Volunteering is rewarding, fun and beneficial for both youth and the community. 

What: Help us engage and encourage the next generation of community minded leaders at our annual Family Volunteer Days in Austin and Houston! This year we are on track to engage more than 1,000 people across two events.

Who: Imagine hundreds of youth practicing and learning compassion and empathy, becoming advocates for a local nonprofit, and starting their journey to become lifelong volunteers, donor and active citizen.  

How: Generation SERVE is a nationwide leader in family volunteering. Our unique approach and service learning pathway create a beneficial and easy process for both families and over 200 Texas nonprofits to keep families volunteering.

When: Our free Family Volunteer day event is scheduled for Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Austin Central Library, and in the Spring of 2023 for Houston, TX!

This challenge grant challenges us to raise funds by August 12, 2022 to be eligible for additional grants!!! Can you help us reach our goal of $6,000 so that we can double or triple our fund raising efforts and keep Texas volunteering!?!

Funds raised will pay for in-kind supplies and other needed costs to support our service areas that give back to over 50 nonprofits in Austin and Houston. What is your favorite Volunteer Project? Donate in support of your FAVORITE service area:
