Update #1
We can do this!!
The battle against cancer isn't a new one, but it continues each and every day as people come face-to-face with cancer and engage in what are literally fights for their lives.
If you know me, you probably know my history with cancer. It took my mom, took a shot at me, attacked our eldest son and threatened my great nephew. And now, in 2024, cancer is back in my family.
It's brutal. It's ruthless. It's relentless. And it's up to us to fight it.
This September, the C3 - Challenge To Conquer Cancer team will once again journey from South Carolina to Maine. And while covering those 1,200-ish miles quickly and safely are among our goals, the real goal - THE GOAL THAT MATTERS - is raising money to support cancer research and assist families dealing with the challenges cancer brings.
I'm not someone who is typically inclined to ask for a lot of help, but when it comes to this effort, I'm all about asking for help. I need your help. I need your support. And cancer research needs your money.
I'll do the training and sweating and panting and cursing. (Lots of cursing!) All I need you to do is click a few buttons and commit as many dollars as you can afford to help fight cancer in all its nasty forms. EVERY DOLLAR MATTERS!
Come hell or high water, I'm going to make it to Maine. But whether or not this ride is a success depends entirely on you.
C'mon. Let's go to Maine together. Let's fight cancer together.
Thanks in advance for your generosity.
