Dear Anonymous
After streaming my favorite game Ocarina of Time and struggling through randomized logic, you, an anonymous viewer chose to donate to Heartland and meet the second goal on the last day of streaming right before the Walk of Love.
This act of kindness is incredible, and I'm so grateful to you for watching me and reading my story. This shelter means the world do me, and the work volunteers and staff do is incredible. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
A cat will find a home because of you.
My cat stories

I adopted Sweets in Summer of 2011. After mothering four kittens, she was sick with a URI and was found to have grain allergies. Nonetheless, her name did her justice as she approached EVERYONE and was the sweetest cat you could ever know. As Sweets got older, she was diagnosed with FLUTD. This required frequent testing and a special diet for the rest of her life. We spared no expense to give her a good quality of life. Eventually it caught up to her and she passed in 2023. She was by my side for 12 years.

Since then I've adopted two bonded 1 year old kittens named Lumi and Stormy. These kittens came from an abusive home. A concerned neighbor saw that they were strangled and called CACC. They spent one month in foster care before ending up in my home. Now, they have come out of their shells and love play and attention.
I am asking for $100 to sponsor adoption fees for one cat.
Of course, Heartland also adopts out dogs. Some dogs cannot be homed even after volunteers attempt behavioral training. Heartland goes out of their way to find sanctuaries or farms for these dogs to live, accepting rescues and driving animals out nation-wide.
Thank you for your consideration.
