Music Education for East Tampa Academy!

Students and families in East Tampa face tremendous challenges, with few resources and enrichments programs available. They do not typically have the opportunity to experience music lessons in their homes. But our new tuition-free charter school aims to change this. 

At East Tampa Academy, we're invested in our students. We want to provide them with opportunities in the arts, which helps them learn and grow. Music education enhances our students’ lives and educational experience, which in turn improves the East Tampa community. 

We believe music plays an important role in the development and education of our students, and can have a profoundly positive impact on the rest of their lives. The more we integrate the music education and community partnerships as part of our students’ experiences, the more they will benefit academically, socially, and creatively.

Your donation goes directly towards the purchase of musical instruments for our students. Your kind generosity will allow us to purchase the following items:

• 50 recorders and music books
• 15 portable keyboards and sheet music 
• Rhythm instruments for all our students 
• 12 xylophones and sheet music
