Let’s Go Playmakers! 

Hi friends and family! It’s Cynthia. 

Let me share a little story: "Shawn doesn't like mornings. His Mom said getting him up for school is a chore BUT on Playmaker Baseball Saturdays, he's up before his parents and already dressed in his team uniform. He can't wait to hit the field, see his buddies and play some ball."

It's that spark we work so hard to give these kids. Playmakers is a nonprofit that provides adaptive sports and recreation for children and adults with disabilities. Our current programs include baseball, basketball, dance, and boccia. 

I feel blessed to say we are still a 100% volunteer driven organization so ALL your gifts go directly to creating fun and inspiring activities for a segment of the population that is often left out or forgotten. NOT BY US!!! We love our players and are fired up by their enthusiasm. 

Because of everyone who donated to last year’s campaign we purchased new sports equipment, launched a pilot program (boccia), and had the funding to rent a beautiful field at Long Beach City College for our baseball program, and a larger basketball gym for basketball at Bancroft Middle School. YAY!
