Edna Yan -- Stark Naked

When I turned 40, a milestone, I committed to training for and running marathons.  As I begin the next milestone decade I want a new challenge to motivate and inspire me in a healthy way.  SN is the perfect challenge for this moment.  I want to get myself in the best possible shape, to do it with the help and instruction of the best trainers,  to be a role model of health and discipline to my children, and to push myself to my limits.  And I want to do so while at the same time giving back to my community.   I can't wait to get going!

I chose the CDM High School Athletic Foundation as my charity because I want to support our local school and give back directly to my community.  I have seen how sports helps children set high goals and learn the discipline and teamwork it takes to achieve those goals. I have seen the benefits of such a commitment in my own children, on the track team, the tennis team and the volleyball team. By supporting our high school sports program, we support our community, our children and our future.
