Dolores was a gifted singer and talented artist who shared her love of the arts her whole life. From her first solo in church at four years old, to singing for Helen Keller as a member of the Lindbloom high school concert choir, to a young woman studying voice privately (where she met her husband), Dolores embarked on a lifetime of singing.

In 1982 she joined the Park Forest Singers (now Grande Prairie Singers) and sang as a soprano until the late '90s. She served as an active member on the Board of Directors and created many lifelong friendships. She also shared the PFS stage at one time or another with her husband, three of her children, her daughter in law, and two granddaughters. Currently, her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter sing with Grande Prairie.

Most recently, she attended a few rehearsals as a guest in the 2019-2020 season and was seated close to the front at the last concert held for Christmas 2019. Her connection with this group has deep roots in both decades and generations, and it is with great joy in honoring her memory that we create this fundraiser for a group that she impacted so profoundly.
