I began serving as the President/CEO of EmpowHer Institute in 2020. At that time, I had no idea how much of an impact this organization and the girls we serve would have on my life. It has been a healing experience to lead a company that prioritizes the community and fearlessly advocates for Black, Indigenous, girls of color and women. Now entering my 5th year with EmpowHer, I can honestly tell you that leading this organization is God's purpose for me. I grew up just like the girls we serve. I see myself in them. And I know with the right support they will excel.
