Support Connecting Chicago's mission to provide free virtual tutoring for Chicago students!

$970

$10,000 goal

Created in March of 2020 by two Walter Payton High School students, Connecting Chicago is dedicated to combating educational inequity by providing free virtual 1:1 tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. We are the largest student-led nonprofit in Chicago and the fastest growing provider of free tutoring!

We are unique because Connecting Chicago is for students, by students; all of our 850 tutors are currently enrolled in High School, College, or Graduate School. As a result, students receiving tutoring feel an extra connection to someone who seems more like a peer.

The mission is simple: provide high-quality educational services to Chicago students at no cost.

And it is working - Connecting Chicago has already served over 1,250 Chicago students with tutoring and can accommodate IEPs from grades K through 12th.

The COVID-19 crisis will pass however, the educational inequities throughout Chicago will remain. The organization's services are needed now more than ever. Connecting Chicago is dedicated to closing this gap by expanding their reach and equipping students with tools that they need to succeed.

But we need your help! Please consider donating to Connecting Chicago. Your contribution will enable us to expand our reach and ensure that our program can remain free.

We, and our students thank you for your support!
